On April 26 – 27, 2023, staff members throughout the Southwest gathered for the Cesar Chavez Foundation’s biennial convocation, “Let the Spirit Flourish and Grow.” This year’s theme was inspired by a stanza from the Prayer of the Farm Workers’ Struggle, written by Cesar Chavez.

Staff came together at the National Chavez Center and Bakersfield, Calif., to celebrate, network, and receive recognition for their commitment to carrying on Cesar’s life work of uplifting the lives of Latinos and working families.
