Now accepting applications for the Youth Heritage Summit California

The National Chavez Center, National Parks Services and the Cesar Chavez Foundation are hosting the second Youth Heritage Summit California in Keene, CA from July 25-28, 2018. The Youth Heritage Summit is a multi-day, immersive experience designed to connect high school students with teachers and professionals by engaging them with the story of Cesar E. Chavez and the Farmworker Movement. By bringing participants to a series of significant sites which have the ability to illustrate the movement, students are exposed to the significant contributions made by Cesar Chavez and the Chavez family towards improving living and working conditions for our nation's farm workers. The Summit also introduces students to career opportunities in heritage conservation.
